“All the angles you don’t see”– Blogger shares postpartum body

A mum blogger of four is empowering all women on Instagram with a video. Anna Strode, from Melbourne, Australia, is showing us “all the angles” we don’t see, when we go on Instagram. With this, she’s making a point on how social media does not portray the exact truth, while encouraging us to love our postpartum body forms. Fantastic!

“Instagram is full of all the ‘perfect shots’ that make it seem like every mama except you has ‘bounced back’ after birth”

Rightfully as she captioned her one-minute long video, which shows us the full 360° of her body.

Anna Strode is a popular mom blogger in Melbourne, who has over 140,000 followers. They keep up with daily updates on her pregnancies, exercise routines and family life.
And the 33-year old may have just made them happier with this new video.

Now in this video, the mom blogger is addressing a pretty widespread problem among mothers– she herself falls victim. Yup, the perfect social media post-pregnancy bodies!

Anna says she sometime feels “disheartened” by the “perfect shots” of mum-bloggers and Instagram models who have quickly regained their pre-pregnancy bodies.

“And while it can sometimes be motivating, it can also be very disheartening when you feel like you’re the only one that still looks 6 months pregnant”, she wrote on Instagram.

“Give yourself nine months to recover your body”, Anna advised.

Adding that she felt vulnerable in the video, her aim was to let other mothers know that they were not alone.

“Because even though I feel incredibly vulnerable posting this, I want use this platform to help other mamas realise they are not alone”

“Too often we question ourselves and feel overwhelmed and anxious about the perfect pictures that make up our Instagram feed. The Insta-models bouncing back after birth, the beautifully curated mummy bloggers feeds styled back in their size 6 designer jeans, the fitness models doing full blown burpees out of the labour ward”, she explained.

Again, Anne recommended a nine month period to allow the body get back to its form.

“Remember it took 9 MONTHS for your body to grow your baby. You need to give it AT LEAST 9 months to recover from growing a tiny human, nourishing it and everything in between 💕”, she wrote.

Sounds solid doesn’t it?

“This is just a reminder that you are not the only one NOT “bouncing back” after birth”

So far it seems her video impressed a lot of people. The comments have been nothing but positive.

“I cannot thank you enough for this. I’m struggling at 8 mos postpartum to not look like I’m still pregnant and only seeing other mommas who are back in prebaby clothes by like 8 weeks. I love this so much!! ❤❤❤”, one follower said.

Superstar!! Love this! We need to show the real postpartum- not just the polished version!! ❤️❤️”

“Every mom needs to follow you! You are a breath of truth air ❤️”, other comments read.

Yaay to mummy bodies!!
