It was all thanks to Adderall but Ashley attributed her weight loss to exercise
Ashley Beeman admitted that her dramatic weight loss was actually from an addiction to Adderall, used to treat attention deficit disorder (ADD).
The 34-year-old rising fitness blogger shared with News.com.au, that her life was ruined by the prescribed medication she became addicted to in 2015, and went from weighing 75kg down to 58kg.
Then, she sold a false dream to her 32,000 combined online audience, pretending her workout routine got her that body.

“I would fake my workouts for my social media followers and my business grew a ton, and I feel terrible about that now,” she said in the publication.
“People were complimenting me which spurred me on and made me feel great. I thought I looked fantastic but I was just skin and bones.”
“I had pretended to be living this really healthy lifestyle to all my followers and I owed them an explanation”
Ashley came out in a live Facebook session as well
Beeman spoke about how she lost control with the drug. She began to run through her monthly prescription in just two weeks!
“She hit rock bottom when she ran out of Adderall at a family reunion and became so anxious she couldn’t interact with her family,” News.com.au wrote.
“I would lie to pharmacists and doctors,” she further admitted. “I would make up ridiculous excuses like I dropped my prescription script into the lake and they would just give me another.”
So in 2016 she vowed to quit — and it’s been a successful three years after that.

“When I was on Adderall I was selfish. I was just living my life and I wasn’t present for my children. I wouldn’t spend time with them”
With the support of her husband, Ashley Beeman came clean to her social media followers about her former addiction.
“I went live on Facebook and I received such a warm reaction. Everyone was really supportive and they started sharing their own struggles with Adderall,” she said.
