Coachella, Coachella, Coachella! And the Influencers that made it

As we all know, the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, simply called ‘Coachella’, started on Friday the 13th of April. And as usual, it is so much fun! Also, some of our favorite influencers made it there. INfleur brings you a full update of how things went down at the festival.

Day one, Friday

Starting on Friday, Coachella kicked off with memorable appearances from The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, SZAJean-Michel JarreJamiroquai plus internet’s viral sensation- 11 year old ‘Walmart Yodeler’, Mason Ramsey
Probably the buzz about Friday had to do with The Weeknd’s emotional performance of “Call out my name”, his lead track off his recent EP, Melancholy. Widely believed to be about his ex girlfriend, Selena Gomez, The Weeknd couldn’t help but shed some tears while he sang. Awwwww.

the full performance, enjoy having a mental breakdown {I}

Day two, Saturday

For this year’s Coachella festival, the main act was no other than the ‘Queen Bey’. Yes! Beyoncé became the very first black female artiste to headline the festival since its existence. When it came to her performances, my oh my! From a rapturous marching band entrance with hundreds of dancers, amazing backup singers, rows of female violinists, and finally to an unforgettable Formation performance, Bey absolutely killed the show! The icing on the cake was when she shocked all with an onstage Destiny’s Child reunion, and performed with her husband, Jay Z and her sister, Solange.  It was a family affair and simply put, Bey is a legend! #Beychella

Other great performances too like the ecstatic one from X Japan, David Bryne’s and Tyler the Creator‘s crowned Saturday’s event. Sunday also came with its own surprises and some fun, even though it couldn’t match up to Saturday’s. Cardi B, Eminem and Migos closed Sunday’s event in their own sweet way.

Rihanna had a Fenty x Puma pool party on the side too.

Now to the influencers that passed through Coachella.

Coachella is a haven for influencers. So many of them are in California right now and here are a few we could capture:

Luisa Lion is in this year but she has some words…

“The truth about Coachella.. It’s not as fun as it used to be! Too big, too expensive and too little about the Music ??…”, her caption read. Hmmmm, looks like someone isn’t having as much fun…

The truth about Coachella.. It’s not as fun as it used to be! Too big, too expensive and too little about the Music ??? ??
