Danielle Cohn: Drama arises as teenfluencer’s father disputes her age

15-year-old or need we say, 13-year-old, Danielle Cohn, has been in and out of the news all year. Back in April, the Tik Tok star went viral for announcing her ‘marriage’ to boyfriend Mikey. She also said she was pregnant (which all turned out to be pranks), stirring up the entire internet community. And now, her own father is calling Danielle out for lying about her age, while pleading with her to act her age.

I have never liked Danielle being on social media, especially when she started at such an early age”

Father of popular influencer, Danielle Cohn, seems to be worried for his daughter.

The controversial teen social media influencer, who has 3.7 million followers on Instagram, shot to fame when she was only 9 on Musical.ly (before it became known as TikTok). She also has 1.4 million on YouTube.

Interestingly, Danielle does more these days than just lip-sync on the app. She’s often seen posing in sexy bikinis, crop tops and lingerie. She was also in a relationship with fellow TikTok star, Mikey Tua (17), whose mother intervened after learning Dani’s real age and forced the two to break up.

So yes, her age has been a ‘grey’ area ever since. Not forgetting her own mother and manager, Jennifer, has previously claimed her daughter is 15, not 13.

However, Danielle Cohn’s father, Dustin Cohn, has in a lengthy Facebook post complained about his daughter’s online behavior.

“For years I have done the diplomatic thing while dealing with my daughter being online in a way I didn’t approve of and trying to have it handled out of social media because I figured the system would work and keep my daughter safe,” Mr Cohn started.

“I have never liked Danielle being on social media, especially when she started at such an early age. But pageants and modelling and then Musical.ly we’re all pushed on her,” he continued.

“It was always a huge problem to me. I asked for it to stop immediately, which it didn’t.”

“No 13-year-old should be dancing in lingerie”

Dustin went on to blame brands and firms for exploiting her daughter, who’s clearly a minor.

“The pictures now have gotten worse and worse. I am finally saying something on social media because people need to be held accountable.”

“(The companies) have used a minor for profit because the money is more important than the truth. The exploitation of children on these sites needs to stop. If that means I have to be that person, I will come out and show the disgusting truth,” he said.

He cited brands and platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Fashion Nova, Buzzfeed, Universal, Target and Bang Energy Drinks.

“Everyone can see this is wrong the way she’s been posed and her pictures”

“It started with crop tops to bikinis and now lingerie? Instead of it being taken down, now every time I ask, I’m told Danielle wants to post it (even when she was 11), and I’m told she’s losing likes. To me safety is more important.”

“I do want Danielle to be happy, but not at this cost. No 13-year-old should be dancing in lingerie.”

“I hope one day she sees that I’ve only ever tried to protect her. I hope others around her wake up and realise it shouldn’t be about the money but living life as a kid that she is,” he concluded.

No show from Danielle and her father’s worried even more

“Dustin’s post went viral, garnering more than 5,400 likes and generating 2,900 comments. The concerned father claims he hasn’t seen or heard from Danielle in months, despite a custody agreement saying she’d visit for one week once a month,” News.com.au reported.

And while Danielle Cohn has not commented on this new one yet, she said this in an old Instagram post about her father.

“I have the best life and make my own decisions so tired of this. Listen to someone that has nothing to do with me and also took my mom to court before I was famous because he didn’t want to pay child support…”

Jennifer, her mom, had also said previously that;

“You might not agree with what my daughter post or what she does but at this age she setting up her life she become a millionaire at her age.”
