Instagram is working hard to keep everyone connected to the app. As part of a recent Shazam update, you can now share the music you ‘shazam’ directly to your Instagram story. Let’s find out how it is done…
So we know Shazam–the app that allows you find music you don’t know the titles of, simply by recording 5 seconds of it. Shazam is making it now possible to have bragging rights. The new update announced on Nov. 1, reveals that the music identification app is compatible with Instagram too. Users can not only ID a song easily, but can share it with their followers.
Way to go Shazam! But how do we do this?
Just like the photo above, posting ID’ed songs to the world is simple. First, you obviously have to Shazam a song. Then you choose the share button, and choose the Instagram Stories option. As you can see in the image above, once you post a song to your Story, viewers can tap and view more details in the Shazam app itself. It’s that easy!
Shazam a song, tap on share and choose Instagram Stories. The world can now hear you through the music you love!

Instagram is definitely going to be the millennials’ favorite!
The photo-video sharing app is getting even better by integrating so many other apps onto their platform. Earlier this year, Instagram integrated Spotify into Instagram Stories, and just last month, Soundcloud released their integration with the app as well.
Insta-Shazam: Share music from Shazam to your Instagram Story!
With all these updates, it leaves us wondering…what next for Instagram? Perhaps a Snapchat Integration haha!
