Liverpool FC’s top player, Mohammed Salah, deletes all social media accounts! This comes after the Egyptian legend posted a ‘cryptic message’ on Twitter. As to whether he’ll be back soon or never remains a mystery…
Mo Salah has left a dent in fan’s hearts, after he quit social media on Tuesday, Jan 22. The talented winger, made this decision following a tweet he put up that day.
The tweet read, “2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real.” Mind you this tweet was his first in two weeks, making it more unclear what pushed him to this point.
Mohammed Salah leaves social media for good?
So far, Liverpool FC has made no comments concerning their player’s decision. Meanwhile his over 30 million social media followers are seeking desperately for answers.
“I woke up this morning and knew that #MoSalah has deactivated his Twitter account ! cause of those stupid freaking haters and rivals l I’m terribly sad cause I love seeing him tweeting but I don’t wanna any one to harass him or distract him from achieving his goal
Love you Salah”, one fan tweeted. “@MoSalah miss you my king x 😢”, another wrote.
Others have linked Salah’s decision to his recent social media backlash.
“Well, Mo salah closed his social media account. if i were him i did that ages ago. toxic comments everywhere”, one fan said.
The player has been accused of ‘consistent diving’ in the game. Apparently, the star has gained a number of ‘questionable’ penalties and freekicks for his club– a recent on in their game against Crystal Palace FC. Trolls gave Mo a tough time on social media over this issue. Not long after, this tweet comes so it seems so related. But who knows?

Furthermore, some people think the top scorer is hinting at a possible transfer to Real Madrid. Although, this seems a bit overboard, what if??
