Netflix is going for the win! Before this update, it only allowed users to share titles on Instagram Direct. Now, iPhone users would be able to share links to shows and films on Instagram Stories. This feature will be added to Netflix’s Android application in the near future.
In addition to having clickable links, users can customize with stickers, gifs, emojis and more. Users who have the app installed on their phone will see an option to “Watch on Netflix”. Tapping on this link will direct the user to the Netflix app, and they can start watching the title right away. Cool right?
Just click the “share” button and a list of options comes up. Now on that list — alongside Facebook and Twitter — is an option to post directly to your Instagram Story
Netflix update: Share your movies on Instagram Story

Aside Netflix, other apps have the option of sharing via Instagram Stories. For instance, Spotify released an update that allows this late last year. GoPro also has this feature for sharing photos directly to IG stories.
“Instagram Stories which is increasingly becoming more popular than the platform itself has over 400 million active users”, Hindustan Times wrote.
