Sophie Elise: Influencer warns all against cheap cosmetic surgeries

The Norwegian media icon has advised all to stay off cheap cosmetic fixes. Sophie Elise herself is a victim, as she had butt surgery at age 19. Now at 24, the blogger is full of regrets and plans to correct the surgery, no matter the effects.

“I don’t want a completely broken butt for the rest of my life,” Sophie says

TV-personality, author, blogger and YouTuber, Sophie Elise, has over 420,000 followers to influence. And influence did she, with her latest blog post, warning against “the cheapest possible” cosmetic procedures.

“As you know, the plan has always been to get the butt back to natural during the year,” she wrote in the post (which has been translated from Norwegian). “The reasons have been many, but most of all I’m just tired of having a butt that doesn’t look natural.”

Elise, 24, had this butt lift when she was only 19. At the time, she admits, was just living in the moment.

She revealed the procedure was done in Turkey because it was the cheapest option, but she now regrets it.

“Now that I’m older I think in a completely different way and most choices I make on my own, whether physical or mental, should be something I can live with forever,” she continued.

“The cheapest is not the best...I’m just tired of having a butt that doesn’t look natural.”

Sophie described her experience in Turkey

“So many people are lured to Turkey to operate and I got completely shocked when I was there,” she explained.

Some patients were there for the fifth or sixth time to get fat sucked out from other areas of the body to “put everything in the ass,” she added.

Sophie Elise said she there were so many patients, that the luxury treatment she expected wasn’t given. She also believes everyone got butt lifts in Turkey would have it reversed eventually.

“It is not durable, and I’m doing it sooner rather than later,” she said.

“I’ve learned from the whole experience and when I want to reduce my butt, I [will] go to Los Angeles and [get] the best surgeon on it.”

It all comes at a cost for Elise

According to the surgeons in Los Angeles, her procedure was poorly done and reversing it wouldn’t come easy.

“It’s going to hang and I’m not going to be able to work it up again,” Elise described. “It’s going to be superfluous skin, and if I’m going to ‘lift’ the skin it’ll give me a terribly nasty scar that isn’t necessary.”

Instead, Elise is likely to opt for the alternative where her butt would be reduced.

“I don’t want a completely broken butt for the rest of my life,” she said. “But, now at least it can be done properly and look natural.”

Her main advice to everyone is not to go for cheap — hoping her story would be a “wake up call for anyone considering operating the cheapest possible.”
