The Champions: Introducing Bleacher Report Football’s comedic cartoon series

Football is probably the best 90 minutes of any day. But ever wondered what goes on off the pitch? Well Bleacher Report Football have, and they have the best way to bring their imaginations to life! Their new, exciting and hilarious animation series will definitely get you off your chairs. The Champions is a simulation of famous footballers and coaches, as cartoon characters, living what we think are their ‘real lives’.

Six episodes in and fans cannot get enough! BR Football is winning it all this year with this dramatic animation. Launched in September 2018, The Champions is arguably the best short comedic animation out there…and the best is yet to come!

The creators always find a witty way of fusing reality in this fictional drama. In fact, you can call it football’s very own reality show! And its catchy tagline is certainly enough to get you hooked:

“What happens when 800 of the world’s most elite footballers and their managers live together under one roof? Players stop being polite, and start getting re-eaalll. This is The Champions!”

Sold right!? And for 800 players, this means there’s a bit for everyone, regardless of the club you support.

So far, we’ve had an episode trolling PSG’s Neymar Jr, another on the FC Bayern – BVB Dortmund rivalry, and the ever hilarious Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Kloop vs the ‘jealous’ Jose Mourinho episode.
