Known as @stylemocca on Instagram, the youngster started her blog, STYLEMOCCA, from scratch with her boyfriend. In such a short while, her unique style and great personality has attracted thousands of followers. She’s hardworking, beautiful inside- and out, plus she has a whole lot to offer! Lets get to know Theresa more in this interview…
Tell us briefly about what you do and what you love most about it?
Theresa: I’m Theresa, the CO-Founder and Chief Editor of the Fashion & Lifestyle Blog STYLEMOCCA. In 2015, I founded the blog together with my boyfriend Marc and since 2018, we are blogging full-time at STYLEMOCCA.
What I love most about my work as blogger is that I have the possibility to pursue my passion and execute my hobby as a job. Thereby, I am able to be create, work with brands I love, but most importantly to connect with my followers and readers every day.
What are some of your favorite fashion brands?
Theresa: Depends on the respective price segment. When it comes to good prices and trendy fashion I love ZARA, Mango, H&M and & other stories.
In terms of high end fashion I love Gucci, Chloé and Chanel.
What is your favorite go-to outfit?
Theresa: For me, a girl is always well dressed with a well fitted jeans. Combined with a white shirt, a blouse, or a nice piece of knitwear. This is my favorite go-to outfit.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Difficult question, as I am generally not a big fan of hyping celebrities. However, I have just watched all 8 series of The Vampire Diaries and I kind of like Ian Somerhalder, the guy who is playing Damon.
Tell us briefly about the most exciting travel adventure you’ve had
Theresa: Definitely me and my boyfriend’s road trip through Australia. We used to live in Australia, for half a year (we did a semester abroad there) and did a 3 ½ weeks road trip down the entire Australian East coast. All I can say is: I loved it. All the beaches, the trips we took, the extremely nice people and the great weather was definitely a blast.
What one thing do you hate most about social media?
Theresa: I think the pressure it puts on people due to its creation of a fake world. Sometimes, social media can actually demotivate and frustrate me, seeing all the perfect images, stories and people. Increasing frustration increases pressure on oneself to constantly strive for a perfect world that doesn’t exist. This can sometimes be really stressful and physically burdensome.

So far, is blogging as you imagined it? In what way is your family supporting your dream?
Theresa: Well, blogging contains much more than taking pictures and writing texts. I think, lots of people underestimate the work of a blogger. That’s also what I did. If you want to blog successfully, you have to develop a creative mindset, but must also be aware, that a business related mindset is necessary to run a sustainably successful blog.
Although blogging is not a typical job here in Austria, my family is strongly supporting me by, for instance, sometimes taking pictures and always cheering me up when I am down. I’m so grateful to have them in my life. Besides that, my boyfriend and blog partner, was the one who encouraged me to believe in myself and pursue my passion.
Since 2015, we now work together at STYLEMOCCA and couldn’t be happier. For me, it’s an absolute privilege to find someone who is not only your partner in life, but also in business.
Name one influencer who you love most
Theresa: I know several influencers I find very inspiring, but when it comes to great content and high quality pictures, I absolutely love @fashiioncarpet.
If you could change something about the world, what would you change?
Theresa: I am a big objector of iniquity. So what I would change in the world are the different starting conditions for people. For me, the quality of life highly depends on someone’s starting conditions. What kind of family background does someone have? What educational background does someone get? Who is supporting and encouraging someone?
I believe that everybody can do something great, but often it’s the different starting conditions in life that make a huge difference concerning the future of different people.
Therefore, for me it’s very important to especially support people who might not have the best starting conditions, in order to give them the chance to also reach their dreams and goals.
Interview with Theresa- @STYLEMOCCA
What’s the nicest thing you have ever done for a follower?
Theresa: I don’t know exactly what action to consider as nicest, but for instance, I have helped lots of followers with respect to their bachelor or master thesis, by completing a questionnaire, or by being available for an interview.
“I believe that everybody can do something great, but often it’s the different starting conditions in life that make a huge difference concerning the future of different people”.
Maybe a little secret. Let us in on something your followers don’t know about you.
Theresa: I always need a plan. That is probably a trait that is very strong in my personality. Having a plan makes me more happy. Not having a plan for a day/week/month makes me super grumpy and I kind of feel unproductive. As I am definitely annoying Marc with this quirk, he knows what I am talking about 😉
What three things can you absolutely not live without?
Theresa: Well I guess my smartphone, my more or less daily sports routine and of course my boyfriend and family.
